Sister Mary Lou Kwiatkowski, CSFN
50th Jubilee
The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Sr. Mary Lou Kwiatkowski, CSFN. For nearly 20 years, Sister Mary Lou devoted her life ministering in several nursing and healthcare positions, tending to the physical and spiritual needs of the people of God.
She continued to build on her education as a nurse throughout her time at Holy Family Manor in Pittsburgh and St. Leonard’s Home in Hollidaysburg. In the late 1990s, Sister Mary Lou transitioned her ministry into pastoral care at Mercy Hospital in Altoona. She joyfully spent a number of years serving as a healthcare coordinator and hospital chaplain. Embodying the spirit of Blessed Mary of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, Foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Sr. Mary Lou is always ready and willing to serve where needed.
She presently gives of her time and incredible talents to the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s Office of Archives.
Sister Linda Yankoski, CSFN
50th Jubilee
The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Sister Linda Yankoski, CSFN. For over 40 years, Sister Linda has given of her service to Holy Family Institute (HFI), where she currently serves as executive director. In addition to her work at HFI, Sister Linda was instrumental in establishing Nazareth Prep, a Catholic school focused on bridging the education-to-employment skills gap for students who have been untapped for STEAM careers.
She has also played an active role in many professional and community organizations and boards, including: Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern PA; Council on Accreditation, New York; FEI, Milwaukee; chairperson of Catholic Charities, USA, D.C.; Duquesne University; Community Care Behavioral Health Organization; and Mercy Hospital in Altoona.
A tireless champion for children, Sister Linda embodies that families indeed are the heart of the Nazareth mission.
