Sister Annamarie Pavlik, SCN
75th Jubilee
Sister Annamarie entered the Congregation of the Vincentian Sisters (now the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth) from the former St. Matthew Parish (now Prince of Peace Parish) in Southside Pittsburgh on February 2, 1945.
Sister received both her MA and M.Ed degrees from Duquesne University and completed post-graduate work at Notre Dame. For 41 years, Sister served as an educator or administrator in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Greensburg; Youngstown, Ohio; Mobile, Ala., and St. Catherine in Canada. She also worked at Vincentian Regency for 21 years in risk management and development.
After 2009, she kept the convent annals and was in prayer ministry. When St. Louise Convent closed in 2020, Sister moved to Mt. Assisi Place, where she remains active in prayer ministry.
